A Boss NS-2 Noise Suppressor was in front of the TubeScreamer. The solos were recorded straight into the amp and were improvised.

The first half of the clip is with the overdrive on. The second half is without the overdrive.

First off I'm using the Traditional cab, they are darker than the Rectifier or Standard. I have it sorta set like this: Pres 2, Bass 5, Mid 6, Treble 6, Gain 6. I have an MXR 10 band taking out -5dB 125Hz, boosting 3dB 250Hz, cutting -4dB 16kHz. I compressed it with Wavehammer something like -8 threshold 2.5 ratio and fast attack and release times.

A much better recording of the Peavey done with an actual mic and recorded into Sonar. Drums used are Addictive Drums. Guitar tuned to C# standard with a Boss Ns-2 Noise Suppressor after the Tubescreamer.

amp settings: Gain on 3, bass just over 6, mid 4, treb 6, lead gain 1, master on 5 pres on 6. Mic(Digital Reference DR-GX1)is at the seam for the cone and dust cap angled 45deg pointing at the center of the speaker. Running straight into my pc with a usb mic cable and recorded using audacity. No post processing or eq what so ever, this is the raw recording
