Testing out some lead tones with the Splawn and Mooer Black Secret.

Left and Right guitar tracks, Splawn only. Center and Lead tracks have the Mooer with gain at about 9:00.

Used the Mammoth Custom Les Paul and JB hum bucker, Splawn cab with Celestion Creambacks. Some quick 80's style noodling wheedle wheedle leads.

Did a mic'd clip with my 2013 Splawn Quick Rod "Low B+" and toggling back and forth between riffs with the Monsterpiece C.O.D. Overdrive. The C.O.D. really sounds fantastic.

Started with minimal gain (below 9:00) on gear 2 for the KISS and Priest. Kicked the gain up to 10:30 for the Ozzy and heavier stuff

Here is a comparison of the 1986 ProCo RAT and Mooer Black Secret. Both are dialed in the same to see how close the RAT gets.
