I am just testing my new bass out. I recorded this direct with the Ignite Audio SHB-1 VST into some compression then into a Redwirez cab impusle (I think it was the Aguilar 115 cab).

I am liking what I am hearing, but I really don't know as I am a guitar player primarily. If you have suggestions, let me know!

Protone Thruster > Egnater Tweaker 15 [MXR 6 band eq > Hermida Audio Reverb > Visual Sound V3 Tap Delay] > Ported 1x12 Cab [Fane Medusa 150]

I am really surprised at what this little amp can do!

This is another clip of Stupid boy with two tracks... One being the direct in with the BBE Sound Acoustimax and the other being recorded by my Sennheiser e609 mic. I blended the two and panned them inverse of each other at 11%. I did some post eq as well as reverb. The mic was a bit hot and picked up some ambient noise (dogs and my breathing), so I added a soft noise gate to that track.

This was a direct recording of my Agile TC-1200 using some Seymour Duncan stack pickups, specifically the STK-T2B and STK-T1N. The lead was done with the STK-T2B and the rhythm was done splitting the two.

Chain was Agile -> Saffire 6 USB -> Reaper 64-Bit DAW.

The impulses were of a 1970's Marshall 4x12 with Celestion Greenbacks (ReCabinet impulses). The mics used for the impulses were a Shure SM57 and a Sennheiser MD421.

This is a clip I did when I first got a tube amp about 4 1/2 years ago. From listening to it, I probably could have used some post eq and better mic positioning.

This is another take of She Loves Me Not by Papa Roach. This time I had the mic on the Celestion CL80 and not the WGS Veteran 30. At first there is only one track (channel 3) then I add a second track (channel 4) during the chorus. At the second chorus I keep playing channel 4 for a double track till the end. Hope this sounds better to you all : )
